Our Story

We started the way most things do in our community: out of necessity. As the children of Latino immigrants in Sonoma County, we grew up watching our parents and neighbors navigate a world that was increasingly digital but never designed with them in mind. We became the unofficial tech support for everyone around us, translating not just language but technology itself. We saw firsthand how the digital divide wasn't just about access to devices or internet. It was about dignity, opportunity, and belonging. Novara was built to change that, one person, one family at a time. Because when the little guy has the tools and the knowledge, everything changes.

NDL advances digital justice by ensuring that everyone has access to technology, digital skills, and creative tools. Through hands-on training and accessible services, we empower individuals, small businesses, and nonprofits to build skills, expand opportunities, and thrive in the digital world.
